Based on the ongoing and rising concerns of the coronavirus pandemic, we must take this time to protect you and our employees. As we continue to actively monitor this virus we are heeding the guidance of health authorities while still providing member service.

Effective Friday, March 20, 2020 we are closing the lobbies to all locations until further notice.

All drive-ups and ATM’s will stay open, all loans, new accounts and business member activity will be made by appointment only.

At Chessie Federal Credit Union, our greatest concern is the health and safety of our Members and Employees. As such, we are closely monitoring the daily developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). We are following guidance from Government and State and Local officials.

At this time, all of our Branches will remain open and are operating under normal business hours. Should that change due to emerging health threat or request from government leaders, you have our commitment for timeliness and transparency. Our website will remain up to date and we will alert you of any changes through Email, Facebook and your local media.

As a precaution, we are doing additional cleaning and disinfecting at each office above and beyond what we do daily. Furthermore, our employees are practicing preventative measures like washing hands regularly and cleaning personal workspaces to help prevent the spread of germs.

We want to assure you that we are taking all the necessary steps to guarantee that you have full access to your various accounts.

During this time, we want to remind you to be vigilant against scams, including fraudulent phone calls and text messages. Chessie Federal Credit Union will never contact you directly to request account numbers, passwords, debit or credit card numbers, expiration dates, personal identification numbers or social security numbers. If you feel you have received a fraudulent call and are concerned about potential fraud on your account, please contact us immediately.
