Popmoney allows you to send and receive money from your account. You can send money to your contacts, who will be notified by email or text message that you wish to send money to them. You and your contacts will never need to exchange financial account information.

Easy to Send, Simple to Receive
It only takes four easy steps to send a Popmoney payment:
- To send a payment, sign into your homebanking account, click on billpay, pay bills, and follow the prompts to access Popmoney. Then enter the recipient’s email address or mobile number and the amount of the payment.
- You’ve got money! The recipient receives an email or text with a personal greeting from you.
- If the recipient isn’t a Chessie member and their financial institution is in the Popmoney network, they use their online banking to accept the payment. If not, the recipient tells Popmoney.com where to deposit the money.
- Money moves directly from senders to recipient’s account. Popmoney uses the same network that the world’s financial institutions use to move billions of dollars a day.

Popmoney offers a host of additional features such as Request Money and eGreetings.
With Request Money, you can initiate both individual and group requests for payment from your friends, family and others.
The recipient will receive an email or text with instructions on how to pay the request.
