Overdraft Privilege OPT - IN Federal Regulation requirement.
Members must now opt in to continue authorizing Chessie FCU to pay overdrafts on your ATM and everyday DEBIT CARD transactions. A new Federal Regulation requires that you personally OPT-IN for these transactions. If you currently use Overdraft Privilege and you want Chessie to pay your ATM and everyday DEBIT CARD transactions please click here to OPT-IN now. The Federal Regulation goes into effect on August 15, 2010. After this date we do not authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday DEBIT CARD transactions unless you ask us to. Your checks and other transactions made using your checking account number and automatic bill payments will still be paid, just not your ATM and everyday DEBIT CARD transactions unless you opt in. To choose your own pin contact us and we will order you a new pin mailer with instruction on how to change your pin number. The mailer will have a toll free number plus a reference code for you to use to change your pin. If you have recently received a new pin please look inside the mailer for the toll free number and reference code to change your pin today.
If you would like to change your pin please contact us via e-mail or 1-800-437-1057 ext. 129 or 125. If we are not available please leave a message requesting a new pin mailer along with your account number, current address and phone number.
